Dust Collector – Polystyrene waste
Searose Environmental were recently hanging 10 down the Tweed Coast with a well-known surfboard manufacturer who needed to reduce the airborne dust created in the shaping room of the facility cutting polystyrene foam using 2 robot cutters.
The biggest issue was the space in which the client wanted the dust collector. We started off with an MR-X 12 dust collector supplied by MX Dust and then customized it in house to fit into the space provided by shortening the bags and legs but keeping it wide enough to make sure that the correct air to cloth ratio was met for optimum extraction. A custom enclosure was designed and ducted back to the dust collector.
